Join award-winning storyteller Gav Cross for a fantastic hour of spooky tales for families this Hallowe’en!

Twisted Tales for Terrible Children will be performed on Friday 30th October at 10:00 and 1.30pm with From Deeper into the Woods for older children at 4.30.

Scratch the surface of all tales we have heard since childhood and we find they are dark, nasty and full of dubious intention. A slight twist reveals the terrible, the silly and the downright incredible ‘truths’ hidden in plain sight. Gav Cross brings these old fables to life again vividly. You’ll have heard these stories before but not told in this way!

An hour of nosiness and nastiness that will trigger giggles and gasps, with the added risk of ruining your childhood forever… Performances last one hour and start promptly at the ticketed time. Tickets include an additional hour, post performance to explore the museum gallery and/or woodland.

Seats will be allocated to ensure social distancing between families. Children aged 3+ require a ticket, children under this age must sit on the lap of their parent/guardian. In compliance with government guidance, only groups up to six people can book together. Local lockdown restrictions means two or more households can not socialise on site. Recommended for ages 7+

Tickets must be pre-booked and cost £5.50 each and are available from eventbrite or by ringing the museum at weekends on 01928 569895.
