October 26 2013 at the Merseyside Maritime Museum in Liverpool
National Museums Liverpool kindly provided the lecture theatre at the Maritime Museum free of charge for Norton Priory's first conference. Speakers included the author and TV presenter Tom Holland and academics, Dr Andrew Abram, Dr Martin Heale and Shirley Curtis-Summers. Jane McComish, Field Officer at York Archaeological Trust has kindly provided her fascinating talk which can be downloaded here.
