Out of the Blue Facilitator 

Norton Priory is working in partnership with the Bluecoat in Liverpool to deliver two Out of the Blue art clubs for primary aged children from the neighbourhoods around Norton Priory Museum & Gardens in Runcorn.

The Bluecoat are seeking an Out of the Blue Facilitator (Runcorn) to join Bluecoat’s dedicated and experienced Participation team to take a lead on the new Out of the Blue projects in Halton. This will be a unique opportunity for someone to develop their existing facilitation skills as part of an acclaimed programme within a supportive environment. You will work closely with colleagues at Bluecoat and Norton Priory to plan and deliver an exciting programme of weekly sessions. You will draw on the richness of Norton Priory’s history and landscape and the contemporary references of Bluecoat’s programme to create engaging and inclusive experiences for children and their families. You will support the appointment and hosting of a guest artist-in-residence from April to July 2019 and support the installation of exhibitions of work at Norton Priory. You will work closely with the Blue Room Facilitator to support members to volunteer and collaborate with children from the local area.

Hours: 10 hours per week (plus possible additional casual hours)

Salary: £20,000 pro rata (£5,333 per annum)
