Wellcome Trust fund new displays

The Wellcome Trust, a global charitable trust dedicated to improving health, has awarded Norton Priory a £116,000 grant to fund new displays, an education programme and DNA research relating to the human remains in the care of the museum.
The support will provide new displays exploring the pathologies and research of the skeletons that the museum looks after. It will include a new interactive display to help people understand how osteoarchaeologists can find out so much from bones, specifically from those of a knight who is believed to have been murdered in the 13th century.
