Monastery to Museum 900

The Trust has been awarded £3.9m by the Heritage Lottery Fund and a further £600,000 from other funders for the exciting project to conserve the undercroft and redevelop the museum.

Can you help?

A donation of any amount will be of great help, but there are a number of ways in which a donation can support specific elements of the project and also provide a dedication for you or a loved one:

£60 will pay for your chosen name to be inscribed into the glass above the entranceway in the stunning new 'atrium' linking the undercroft with the redeveloped galleries. This donation will significantly contribute to the landscaping of the area leading up to this wonderful new space.

£10 will pay for
a conserved Victorian tile, restored and replaced in the newly relaid floor. Your chosen name will also appear on a dedications board in the restored undercroft. With the conservation of the undercroft now nearing completion, we cannot accept further donations for the tiles. Thank you to everyone who has supported this campaign.

Please contact us after your donation to inform us of your chosen name

There are many other ways you may wish to make a dedication, so if there is another way in which you would like your donation recognised or to mark an occasion or a loved one, please contact us at 01928 569895 or email

Donations of £60 include your chosen name inscribed in the glass above the new entrance of the redeveloped museum.

If you would like to donate by post please make cheques payable to Norton Priory Museum Trust.

You might want to gift aid your donation. Under the Government’s Gift Aid scheme, Norton Priory Museum Trust (Charity number No 504870) can reclaim the tax made from the donation. This means that we can get 28% more money, at no extra cost to you.

If you are a UK tax payer, please complete the Gift Aid section on the donation form.
