Norton Priory - A haven for wildlife
Over a thousand different species of wildlife have been recorded at Norton Priory. This fantastic figure is no doubt due to the mosaic of habitats that can be found here; from the Bridgewater canal, wildflower meadows, ponds and woodland habitats to the two and half acre walled garden.
Whatever the seasons there is always something to delight and surprise visitors, whether it is a sparrowhawk hunting in the woodland glades, the call of buzzards overhead or the sound of summer in the wildflower meadow, alive with the buzz of insects.
To find out more about the wildlife at Norton Priory why not join us on one of our wildlife events throughout the year.
Events are £3 per person. All ages welcome.
To book on any of these events call the museum on 01928 569 895 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
