Following government advice, and with the safety of our visitors, volunteers and staff in mind, we are delighted that Norton Priory Museum and Gardens is now open most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between 11am - 5pm. Please note that it is now mandatory for all visitors (excluding those who are exempt) to wear a mask or face covering when visiting Norton Priory Museum and Garden.

We will be closed to visitors on Friday 30 October for our story telling events. This is for ticket holders only and no walks in on the day will be accepted.

All visitors, including members, are advised to pre-book a ticket to visit in order to guarantee their visit. Please be patient if you are unable to book your tickets in your chosen time slot, and try another date or time as we are expecting to be very busy. If there isn't an option to buy tickets for a particular day, this is because we are closed. There are a limited amount of tickets available for each day however we may be able to accept last minute requests to visit if you call us up on the day or walk in without a booking. We can't guarantee a visit in this instances. Our usual opening days are now Friday - Sunday, with exceptions for private events.

Please read through our Frequently Asked Questions. If you still have any questions or concerns about our opening, please do let us know on info@nortonpriory.org. We have also made our COVID-19 Secure risk assessment available to view in our 'FAQs and useful information about reopening' post.

Prices
You may have noticed that our prices have changed. The museum has not increased its prices since it reopened in 2016 and since our closure following the COVID-19 pandemic an increase in admission fees has become necessary in order to ensure that the we are sustainable, especially as we are also unable to welcome as many visitors as we usually would. As a charity, every penny we receive goes towards caring for our grounds, collection and museum to make it a beautiful and welcoming haven for all of our visitors. Our membership prices have not changed which makes them great value if you’d like to visit again and again. Please be assured that this is not a decision we have taken lightly - thank you so much for understanding.
