An introduction to osteoarchaeology. Suitable for those with no experience and those with some background in the subject. With tuition from Dr Carla Burrell, Osteoarchaeologist, using both replica and real skeletons from the Norton Priory collection, participants will:
•Learn how to correctly put a skeleton into anatomical position
•Learn how to age and sex a skeleton
•Identify different diseases and evidence of trauma
•How to correctly record skeletal information
