Help make an amazing giant cardboard castle at Norton Priory Museum as part of this summer's Lost Castles art project!

Volunteers are needed to help French artist Olivier Grossetȇte and his team build a stunning monumental structure, inspired by Halton Castle, at a series of workshops this August.

The FREE drop-in workshops take place between Sunday 5th and Wednesday 8th August at a special location at Norton Priory museum.

You can sign up for as many workshops as you like, they are divided into a morning or afternoon. Volunteers must be aged 8 or over. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Norton Priory also needs volunteers to help erect the castle on Friday 10th August.

The cardboard castle will then be partially demolished on Sunday 12th August. Part of the structure will be retained to be destroyed in a reenactment siege at the Medieval weekend on Saturday 18th August and Sunday 19th August. Usual admission applies for this event.
