Norton Priory Museum & Gardens is inviting everyone to a one-off free event on Saturday 11th August 2018.
Visitors can hear the tales of St George and face the terrifying dragon. Meet the medieval villagers and find out about life in medieval times. Be entertained by the Medieval Juggler. Find out about how you destroy a castle whilst children can have a go with model siege engines. Children can also build a mini sandcastle and enjoy crafts in the museum.
The event is to celebrate the installation of a giant cardboard castle built by volunteers and French artist Olivier Grossetȇte, in the grounds of Norton Priory Museum using around 1,300 cardboard boxes and 264 rolls of tape.
Thanks to support from Culture Liverpool and funding from Arts Council England, the event includes free admission to Norton Priory Museum & Gardens. Activities take place 11am – 4pm.
